Welcome to Sinagami, a joint community website managed by JJSin and Shinigami aka C.C. Towers.
Our goal is to provide our readers and fandom more opportunities to enjoy our writing. Our website will feature blog articles covering a wide variety of topics including our thought process behind some of our novels, behind-the-scenes look at some of our conversations as part of our creative process, our journey as indie authors, the internal debates we have about how our characters... and so much more!

About JJSin: In 2015, J.J. Sin finally decided to put her Math, East Asian Studies, and English Specialist degree from the University of Toronto to better use and started writing. As an avid reader, with a love for poetry and Chinese idioms, she has enjoyed a wide variety of genres including the classics, science fiction, fantasy and historical romance. After much persuasion (read: coercion and blackmail) from her spouse, she decided o finally publish her work. She does have to admit, writing stories is far more interesting than copywriting, but please don't tell her spouse she said so. She currently resides in Canada.
About Shinigami(C.C. Towers): C.C. Towers has spent much of her life balancing two very different interests: engineering and storytelling. While one relies on logic and precision, the other thrives on imagination, and she has never been able to resist a good book. A passionate reader and writer in both English and Spanish, she holds a graduate degree in Engineering and has been collecting stories in her head for years. After 2020, she finally began turning those ideas into completed works. Encouraged (and occasionally coerced) by her friend and co-author, J.J. Sin, she joined forces to write the Celestial Descent Chronicles, a series of MM romantasy novellas filled with adventure, devotion, and a touch of magic. C.C. towers currently resides in Mexico.
